Everything you write here is for the two of you. There is no analytics, no advertising, no third-party code in this app, and nothing is ever sold or shared.

What is stored

Your names, your anniversary, and an email address so you can sign in. Your passcode is stored only as a scrypt hash — it cannot be read back, by us or by anyone who obtained a copy of the database.

Everything you add: dates, trips, calendar events, photos and their captions, and which partner added each one.

When your account was created, and when each of you last opened the app, to the nearest hour. With your names and sign-in details, that is all we look at when helping you with your account — never anything you add.

Who can see it

The two people in your couple, and nobody else. Every request is checked against the account it belongs to, so another account asking for your photo is told it does not exist.

Photos are served only to a signed-in request from your own account. They are never public, never listed, and never reachable by guessing a link.

What is not done

No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, no tracking of any kind, and no third-party SDK in the app.

Nothing you add is used to train anything, and nothing is sold, rented or shared with anyone for any purpose.

Location

The app never asks for your location. Photographs normally carry the coordinates of where they were taken; every photo is re-encoded when it arrives, which removes that and every other hidden field before it is stored.

A place written on a date — “that ramen place off Brick Lane” — is your own text and is stored as you typed it.

Where it lives

On servers rented for this app: a host that runs the software, a managed database, and an object store for the photographs. They hold the data on our behalf and may not use it.

Sign-in and reset codes are emailed through Google Workspace, which handles the message on our behalf.

Taking it with you

About Us → Settings & account → Export everything gives you a file with every date, trip, event and caption in it.

Delete account, on the same screen, erases the account, both logins, every entry and every photo file. It is immediate, it applies to both of you, and it cannot be undone.

Children

This app is for adults. It is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 13.
